== Description ==

Automatically create and setup an Amazon affiliate store within minutes through a WordPress Plugin.

== Installation and setup ==

Before you can use this product you will need:
•    An Amazon Associates Tracking ID
•    An Amazon Web Services Access Key ID and Secret Access Key

Find your Amazon Access Key, and Secret Access Code by clicking on the link below and finding and clicking on "Security Credentials" in the left navigation.

If you do not already have an Amazon Associates ID you can obtain one by joining Amazon’s Associates Program.

If you do not already have an Amazon Web Services Access Key ID and Secret Key ID you can Sign up for a free AWS account

If you already have the necessary IDs follow the steps below to setup the product:

  1. Upload the folder Amazon-store into wp-content/plugins folder or use the WordPress Plugins Uploader.
  2. Go to wp-admin->Dashboard->Plugins->Inactive Plugins and activate the plugin amazon-store.
  3. Go to wp-admin->Dashboard->Settings-> Amazon Store Install and press the button “Accept & Install Amazon Store” (you may need to enter your ftp connection settings if you haven’t already).
  4. After the installation is complete you will get a message that says “Amazon Store Installed successfully.” Click on the link that says “Go to settings” or Go to wp-admin->Dashboard->Settings->Amazon Store Options and enter your Associates Tracking ID and your Amazon Web Services Access Key ID.
  5. Go to wp-admin->Dashboard->Posts->Categories and add all the categories you wish to use for this Amazon Store.
  6. You are now setup and ready to begin importing products – Be patient while importing products this may take a few minutes to import products depending on the amount of products you are importing and your connection with Amazon.
  7. Go to wp-admin->Dashboard->Tools-> “Amazon Store Import” and select the category you wish to use, then choose the most relevant Amazon Category (this helps narrow down your selection to the best product selection based on relevance), then enter in your Search Keywords ( To avoid errors please separate your keywords by commas ), then last you may choose the maximum number of products you would like to import.
  8. Go to wp-admin->Dashboard->Tools-> “Amazon Store Pages”. This section allows you to create a “List View” store page (as shown in the screenshot below). In the screenshot example we created 2 pages; one for Laptops and another for GPS. For this step you will enter the ‘title’ of the page to be created (we used “GPS” in the demo site), then for the ‘Amazon search index’ select the proper category (we used “All” in the demo site), then select the ‘Amazon Keyword’ (we used “GPS” in the demo site).

You should now have a functioning amazon affiliates store powered by WordPress Amazon Store Plugin and Wordpress.
